What is drop shipping?"Drop shipping" is a supply chain management technique in which the retailer [you!] does not keep goods in stock, but instead transfers customer orders and shipment details to wholesalers [us], who then ship the goods directly to the [your] customer. The retailers [you] make their profit on the difference between the wholesale and retail price.
In simpler terms, you sell any of our coffees for a full retail price, you buy it from us with a retailer's discount (wholesale price) and the difference is yours to keep.
We will roast and ship the coffee directly to your customer!
How does it work?
First, you register with us and list our products in your own website or on-line store. To register simply visit our catalog and buy our drop ship membership registration package for $9.99 (includes a CSV file with our entire catalog!).
Second, your customer decides what they want and order it from you.
Third, you collect payment from your customer at the agreed-upon price (e.g., MSRP).
Fourth, you place and pay an order with us and provide us the shipping address (es).
Finally, we will ship the products directly to your customer!
What are the benefits? The two main benefits of drop shipping are first, no upfront inventory to purchase and a positive cash flow cycle. A positive cash flow cycle occurs because the seller [you] is paid when the purchase is made. That means no risk to you. The seller usually pays the wholesaler [dropshipcoffee] using a credit card or credit terms.
What are the risks? As in any business, some risks are involved in drop shipping. For example, back ordering may occur when a seller [you] places a shipment request with a wholesaler [us], but the product is sold out. Yes this is true for most drop shippers but we will keep you updated in the status of our coffee inventories. If for any reason we can't fulfill an order as placed, we will give you a full refund plus a 10% discount in your next order.
